Some designs deserve a cautious test run. Others deserve a full commitment from day one. Knowing the difference is what separates boutiques that turn inventory quickly from ones sitting on clearance racks in August.
Small batch orders—usually 6 to 24 units—aren't just a safety net for nervous buyers. They serve a real strategic purpose when you use them intentionally.
A small batch makes sense when you're testing a new print theme you haven't carried before.
